What Parents, Attorneys & Mental Health Professionals Say About Our Services
I highly recommend 1st Choice Supervised Visitation Services. Ms. Kelly is thoughtful, intelligent, and focused. She is punctual, communicative and highly responsive. She always had backup help as needed to make sure visits were not cancelled.
Her court reports were always very detailed and child focused. We feel very fortunate she was part of our team that helped our family transition from supervised to unsupervised visitations. Our son loved having her around and would get excited when he would see her.
Thank you for all that you do and have done for us Ms. Kelly. We wish you great success.

Kelly was the professional supervisor in one of my cases. As the attorney in the case, there were a few instances in which I had to communicate with Kelly to make sure that the court orders were followed by all parties involved. Kelly was always very responsive to my communications. Kelly truly cared about the safety and well-being of the child in the case. I have worked with many professional supervisors over the years and I can say without hesitation that Kelly is the one that has been the most caring and responsive. I would recommend Kelly to any of my friends, family members and clients.

As a recently divorced father scheduling my first visit with my 16 month-old daughter, I decided to work with Kelly. I can honestly say it is one of the best decisions I could have made. Kelly is seamlessly professional, quick-witted, and so down to earth. She made what could have been a deeply uncomfortable and stressful situation into exactly what I hoped it would be: a happy, joyful reunion with my daughter. Kelly has a genuine gift for interacting with kids and a knack for how to navigate the awkwardness of supervised visits and ex’s. She gets it. It’s rare to meet someone whom you can intuitively trust with something as important as being with your child.

Where to even begin. Divorce sucks. The aftermath is worse and in a contentious situation, the real losers are the kids. Being in the middle of their parents unable to communicate, is really hard. I had to do a relatively short time period of 48 hours of supervision in an environment I had never had to at all with our two older kids. Monitoring is weird and difficult and you feel like you are in a fishbowl with your own child. Kelly and her company 1st Choice were so comforting and made myself and my child at ease. My daughter and I, were just us. Yes there was a monitor there but they were engaged when we wanted them to be and not when we didn’t. The person that matters in all of it was my daughter. I accepted every step of that. And yes this was a battle. Because of this difficult divorce, every single move was under scrutiny so it could have been a really tense and anxiety ridden time for all involved while visiting. But Kelly and her team made it quite the opposite and just allowed me to have the time that I wanted and needed, as did my young one, together. This is not to say they weren’t documenting every step for ALL parties.
This is there court ordered job, they represent really the minor when they file with the courts and they took that part VERY seriously. There was never any bias though. As a Dad walking into it I obviously also feared being judged for being there in the first place. This all came out of court arguments and hearsay but at the end of the day, I had to go through it. I spoke to MANY firms before choosing 1st Choice and cannot recommend them enough on every front. Kelly and her team will go above and beyond for your child and their needs, which again is really all that matters. I thank you from the bottom of my heart 1st Choice for helping me through this time and helping me give our daughter back her Dad and some stability to thrive from!!

I highly recommend Kelly and her team at 1st Choice Supervised Visitation. I received a list of several hundred possible options and I am so very lucky Kelly was one the first handful of people I contacted. She responded much faster than everyone else. Every monitor was very respectful, sympathetic and considerate of both parents’ time and current situation. All parties involved were treated with the utmost respect and dignity.
Kelly has trained her monitors to be very observant and to take detailed notes on each visit. The reports were very well documented and Kelly does an amazing job painting a factual and very colorful picture for a Judge and other readers. The reports I received had a huge impact on my case because they showed the Judge exactly what kind of father I truly am.
From beginning to end, Kelly and her monitors treated me with unbiased nonjudgmental decency. The
rules were very clear up front and as long as the rules are respected this will be a very smooth and
nurturing time for you and your child(ren). I can say my bond with my son has grown from the experience
and I have learned a lot! This is an amazing opportunity for each parent to continue building a healthy
relationship with their child(ren).
I totally understand that this can be a very difficult and emotional time for any parent going through this, I just went through it. Remembering what’s truly important, your child(ren), will help you focus on what ultimately matters and will help you and your child(ren) thrive during this experience.
that was going on in the divorce, this really helped me redirect my energy so I could be completely
present while my son is with me.
Being a parent herself, Kelly is naturally very warm and caring. My son had so much fun with her; he
misses and still asks about her! Watch out, because she will take candid photos lol don’t worry because
they’re adorable! I’ll attach one of them 🙂
Everything from the clear rules to the highest level of respect and empathy for both my sons mother and
my situation made this potentially extremely difficult time much less stressful for both of us. My sons
mother and I actually have a high conflict relationship when it’s not directly related to our son. The rules and respecting the process made this entire process so much easier for both of us to navigate and left way more energy to focus on the giggles, smiles and pure joy my son brings to everyone around him,
especially his mommy and daddy 🙂

My experience with Kelly and her team was outstanding! During a time that I imagined would be very difficult the ladies were kind and thoughtful and wonderful with my daughter – my daughter even made them little gifts! I would definitely recommend this team if you are looking for professionals and a good experience during a trying time.

I have been at Hannah’s House for several years doing supervised visits. I was not pleased with the restricted feel we had at Hannah’s House. I interviewed 3 visitation services and decided to go with 1st Choice Visitation. I’m not a rich person and I found the rates at 1st choice very reasonable to have such a personable, caring person.
It was soooo much better. She made me and my daughter feel very comfortable during the visits, and
allowed us to have a stress-free time. I’m a real person, who wanted to build beautiful memories with my daughter through this challenging time and 1st Choice shared that goal with me! I can’t recommend 1st choice Visits enough.
Thank you 1st choice!❤️

Process was very simple and easy. My visits were very professional. Very versatile with communication, via text/call/email. Most importantly my visits were not performed with a helicopter monitor. Highly recommended.

Kelly was a fantastic monitor. She supervised dozens of visits for me with my seven-year-old daughter and took very detailed notes for the court. The report was meticulous, including timing and details of what she observed / heard. Attorneys from both parties were complementary and it was well received by the judge. My daughter took to Kelly and felt safe as well as my daughter’s mother who was also happy with Kelly and her communication & safety practices. Her pricing was fair and she was flexible to accommodate our schedule when changes came up. She is very professional, intelligent, kind and we all felt comfortable being around her. If I could give a 5 star review this would be it! I strongly recommend 1st Choice Supervised Visitation for any court ordered supervision needs. Kelly Perry’s services were integral for moving my relationship forward with my daughter, building trust , connectedness and closeness.

I provide supervised visitation as a private monitor in highly complex cases, usually referred by lawyers throughout the state of California who are members of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. I had occasion to hire Ms. Perry to assist me on one of my private cases and was extremely impressed with her professionalism and the excellence of her documentation as well as her keen skills of observation.
I would not hesitate to hire Ms. Perry again on one of my complex private cases should the opportunity present.

My family had the pleasure of working with Kelly. Not only was punctual and professional, but our children felt at ease with her right away. Thankfully, our family has moved to unsupervised, but we will always be thankful to 1st Choice Supervised Visitation for making this unfortunate situation bearable.

(2 girls, 7 and 10 years old)
I’ve worked with Kelly from 1st Choice Visitation for several months. Not only is she consistently courteous and professional, but she does a great job making an awkward situation as comfortable as possible. The kids are comfortable with her around and will occasionally interact with her despite her best efforts to disappear into the background. I don’t wish a family situation to deteriorate to the point that supervised visitation is necessary for anybody. Unfortunately mine has, but I couldn’t imagine recommending anybody else but Kelly and 1st Choice.
